You should be able to zoom around with your mouse\/fingers, and if you hover\/touch a constituency you&#8217;ll see the full data, broken down by employment income, self-employment income and total income tax paid:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/heacham.neidles.com\/assets\/median_income_by_constituency.html\" width=\"100%\" height=\"800\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>You can see a <a href=\"https:\/\/heacham.neidles.com\/assets\/median_income_by_constituency.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">full-screen version here<\/a>, and the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/DanNeidle\/iht_constituencies\/\" target=\"_blank\">source code is here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we shade by mean income, instead of median, the map turns entirely white (and you have to zoom into central London to see any colour). Which tells us something about income inequality:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/heacham.neidles.com\/assets\/mean_income_by_constituency.html\" width=\"100%\" height=\"800\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/heacham.neidles.com\/assets\/mean_income_by_constituency.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Full-screen version here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are some big caveats here. It&#8217;s data from income tax only, so won&#8217;t include capital gains. The sample size per constituency is small, so the accuracy won&#8217;t be great.
